Object states allows you to assign different formatting to objects, based on what state the element is in. Examples include:

  • “Hover” (when the mouse is over the element)
  • “Clicked” (when you press down on an element)
  • “Focused” (when an input element has the cursor)

Switch between responsive layouts and element states with this switch:

Then click the state in which you want to edit your selected elements. The style changes you do now will only be seen in that state.

Note that you only see the hover/click effects in action when you preview your project with the Preview button.

Reset states

Use the Edit menu in the toolbar, and click “Reset state” to remove all state formatting for the selected objects.
